Members are invited to join the Society of United Professionals at Labour Day events across Ontario on Monday, September 2. Bring your families and friends to celebrate the contributions of working people and the labour movement to a strong Ontario.

The largest Labour Day event in Canada is Toronto’s parade, which begins on University Avenue north of Queen St. W. and goes to Exhibition Place. Everyone who marches in the Toronto parade receives a free wristband to enjoy the Canadian National Exhibition.
The Society is registered to participate in the following Labour Day events:
- Toronto: 8:30AM, parade to Exhibition Place beginning on University Ave. north of Queen St. W.
- Hamilton: 10:30AM, parade to Bay Front Park (BBQ) beginning on Stuart St. at Bay St.
- Barrie: 11:00AM, picnic at Sunnidale Park
- Port Elgin: 11:00AM, parade beginning at Home Hardware on Goderich St.
