The Society is excited to announce that we are hosting EMPOWERMENT2.0! United in Equity...Virtually—a full-day virtual conference open to all Society members interested in learning more about equity, how to be an ally and how to get involved with one or more of the Society's equity committees.
The conference is Sunday, November 7 from 9:00-4:30PM over Zoom. Registration closes at end-of-day on November 1.

- Dr. Joseph Smith, sponsored by the Young Professionals’ Network (YPN) and Coalition of Racialized Professionals (CoRP)
- The get REAL movement, sponsored by Pride and Solidarity Committee
- and exciting and engaging presentations by Sisters’ United, the Indigenous Relations Committee and the Professionals with Disabilities Committee
Each of the Society’s equity committees - Indigenous Relations Committee, Sisters United, Pride & Solidarity, Young Professionals Network, Coalition of Racialized Professionals and Professionals with Disabilities are helping contribute to a successful event.
