Society joins labour allies to denounce attack on collective bargaining

June 7, 2019

The Society joined the OFL and our labour allies at a press conference at Queen's Park to denounce the Ford Government's attack on the collective bargaining rights of Ontarians.

The Ford Government is expanding its attack on public services by going after the workers who provide those services, including Society members. Ford is legislating away the constitutional right to collective bargaining that all Canadians are supposed to have. We are resolutely opposed to any attempt to strip workers of their rights and we call on Doug Ford to withdraw this legislation.
