The Society is once again participating in the Moose Hide Campaign. The campaign’s goal is to encourage men to hold each other accountable in order to end violence towards women and children. To help achieve this, the campaign will distribute 10 Million Moose Hide squares across Canada.
The campaign began with an Indigenous man and his daughter moose hunting. Now seven years later, more than 1,000,000 squares of moose hide have been distributed and the Moose Hide Campaign has spread to communities and organizations across Canada. Members should be aware that the campaign offers vegan squares for those who prefer them.
The event begins at 8:30am PST (or 11:30am EST) on Thursday, February 11, with workshops starting at 1:15pm EST.
Members can learn more and register for the campaign day workshop and learn more about the campaign should visit: moosehidecampaign.ca
