Society BBQ raised money for homeless youth

September 29, 2017

The Society Young Professionals Committee at Hydro One held their annual barbecue this month, raising hundreds of dollars for Covenant House, a shelter serving homeless youth in Toronto.

Society President Scott Travers attended with EVP Policy Michelle Johnston to bring greetings and thanks for the hard work of the SYPC. Travers noted the important role unions must play in supporting the communities members live and work in, and invited young members to get involved with The Society at all levels.
