Society members know that strong public services are critical to the well-being of all Ontarians. Sadly, Ontario does not fund these services properly. For many years, we have spent less per person on public services than any other province in Canada. And now, under the Doug Ford government, things are getting worse.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Ontario has options. To explore those options, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) has produced a new short video, Richer Than Ever. The video provides facts and arguments to help us push back against the agenda of cost-cutting that is hurting our public services and hurting our province. It is a must-see for all members of the Society.
