BBQs Sizzled

More than 200 Hydro One members came out to the Hydro One Society Young Professionals Committee’s (SYPC) barbeque on September 15. The event raised money for Covenant House, a local shelter for homeless youth.

President Scott Travers attended to thank the Hydro One SYPC for their initiative and encourage more young members to get involved in their union.If you’re interested in getting involved in the Hydro One SYPC, contact sypc@thesociety.ca. If you want to setup an SYPC in your own local, contact your Local Vice President.

IESO members also held a BBQ to mark the end of summer that drew a big crowd.
