Last December, the Society undertook a survey of the entire membership. The purpose of the survey is to solicit members’ priorities for the future, find out what is working, and identify what the union can do better. More than 2,000 members completed a survey. While the data is being analyzed, we have the result of the raffle to reward one lucky survey participant.
To encourage members to participate and recognize the time members contribute by filling out the survey, the Society entered all participants into a random draw for a $500 Visa gift card.
Congratulations to winner William Viana of the Hydro One Local. Viana is a Protection and Control Engineer and the delegate for group 3404. When the Society informed Viana that he had one, he replied, “Wow! That is the best news I have heard this year! I never win anything.”
The Society is glad to have helped Viana start 2020 on the right foot and appreciates the time every member took to fill out the survey.
