Kinky Boots: Pride and Solidarity Movie Night

January 31, 2020

The Society’s Pride and Solidarity Committee is continuing its movie night series with Kinky Boots on Thursday, February 20 at the Society office in midtown Toronto. The screening is open to all Society members, family and friends who identify as 2SLGBTQI+ or are an ally of those who do.

Dinner and snacks will be provided so please RSVP to reserve your spot.

Kinky Boots is a British-American comedy-drama film based on a true story. The movie tells the story of a struggling British shoe factory finding new life in the niche market of producing custom footwear for drag queens, rather than the men's dress shoes that the factory is known for. It's a wholesome movie fit for the entire family! Some of the language is outdated as the film is now 15 years old, but the story of friendship and community is timeless.
