The Society of United Professionals is proud to support students studying to attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives and succeed to their fullest potential. With the COVID-19 pandemic there is little doubt that the 2020-21 scholastic year will present new challenges to students and their parents alike, and we are hopeful that all applicants are successful in their academic pursuits and remain healthy while attending school. The application deadline is July 30, 2021 at 11:59PM.
Scholarships are available for the dependent children and grandchildren of members of the Society of United Professionals, or for the children and grandchildren of members of the Society Pensioners' Chapter enrolled or attending a post-secondary accredited Canadian institution. An individual may only receive this scholarship once and, as such, previous winners are ineligible to apply.
There is a total of 32 awards available. The Society will issue 10 scholarships at $1,500 and 22 scholarships at $1,000 with two awards sponsored by the Pensioners' Chapter.
Please ensure the student-applicant completes the entire application form and submits the required documents no later than 11:59pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 to be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted. Applications must be submitted using the online application form. Please contact Chris Graham, Executive Vice-President, to request alternative methods of applying if needed for accommodation purposes at [email protected] well in advance of the deadline.
All Scholarship applications will be anonymously received and reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee, and only successful applicants will be contacted.
