The Society of United Professionals is proud to support students studying at accredited Canadian post-secondary institutions to attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives and succeed to their fullest potential. Through the Society’s scholarship program, children and grandchildren of Society members and Pensioners Chapter members are eligible to receive up to $1,500 to support their post-secondary education. The scholarship application deadline is Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:59PM.
Scholarships are available for the dependent children and grandchildren of members of the Society of United Professionals, or for the children and grandchildren of members of the Society Pensioners' Chapter enrolled or attending a post-secondary accredited Canadian institution. An individual may only receive this scholarship once and, as such, previous winners are ineligible to apply.
There is a total of 32 awards available. The Society will issue 10 scholarships at $1,500 and 22 scholarships at $1,000. Two awards are sponsored by the Pensioners' Chapter.
Please ensure the student-applicant completes the entire application form and submits the required documents no later than 11:59pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 to be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted. Applications must be submitted using the online application form. Please contact the Society Executive Vice-President Chris Graham to request alternative methods of applying if needed for accommodation purposes at [email protected]. Accommodation requests should be submitted well in advance of the deadline.
All Scholarship applications will be anonymously received and reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
