Hey YPNers!

We hope you are safe and healthy. Let's try to find light amidst this pandemic.

Do you have hidden photography skills? Do you live in a beautiful part of Ontario? Are you working from home? Is your dog just the cutest? Do you want to recognize our union colleagues who are physically going to work each day to keep our communities and organizations running?

Post your favourite picture on Facebook or Twitter, tag @thesocietysays, and explain why our union, the Society, allows you to live a great life!

We will select the most outstanding imagery and you will receive, recognition, prestige, and $$!

Photo Contest Description:

  1. Take a photo of you living your best life that includes the Society logo or Society swag, and write a short description that incorporates why being a member of our union allows you to live a great life.
  2. Email a photo to ([email protected]) or post it on Facebook or Twitter (using #YPNPhotoContest and tagging @TheSocietySays) of you rocking union swag or with a union logo with the knowledge the Society will share photos on their existing social media accounts (FaceBook and Twitter).
  3. Contest runs March 30th - June 1st, 2020
  4. Winners will be chosen and announced in June 2020
  5. Prizes: 3 gift certificates totaling $150 ($75, $50, and $25)
  6. Submissions for the early prize draw of $25 must be made by May 11th, 2020

Photo Contest Rules:

  1. Contest is exclusively open to members of the Young Professionals Network (Society members 35 years of age and younger)
  2. Submissions should be professional and respectful. YPN Steering Committee reserves the right to disqualify submissions. Keep it PG
  3. YPN Steering Committee determines the winners and will judge based on creativity and union theme
  4. One entry per member

Photo Contest Submission Guidelines:

  1. To be eligible for a prize, members must include the following information along with their photo submission:
    1. Your first and last name
    2. The name of your employer
    3. Your short explanation of why being a member of our union allows you to live a great life
  2. Entries must be received by:
    1. Email to [email protected]
    2. Posting on your FB or Twitter using #YPNPhotoContest and tagging @TheSocietySays
