Young professionals in the Society interested in buying a home received valuable advice from Meridian Credit Union mortgage specialists in a financial literacy event organized by the Young Professionals Network, back by popular demand.
Held at the Society head office and online on April 23, experts Ashley Leathwood and Vidal Castillo dived into the details of home buying, with pointers on how to know that you’re ready for home ownership, types of mortgages, mortgage financing, and planning for unanticipated costs. The event included a social for those that attended in-person.
