As the holiday season approached, the Society welcomed members to its Seasonal Open House Wine & Cheese, held on December 17 at the Society’s Central Office. The event provided a relaxed and festive setting for members to come together, reconnect, and celebrate the year’s accomplishments.
Many Society members joined the Society’s Principal Officers, elected representatives, and colleagues for an afternoon of conversation, networking, and holiday cheer. Many locals were represented, giving members the opportunity to meet counterparts from across the Society, exchange experiences, and strengthen inter-local connections. The Pensioner’s Chapter was also on hand, adding valuable perspective and reinforcing the importance of maintaining strong ties across generations of membership.

The event also created an opportunity for members to experience Society Central firsthand. One attendee remarked that it was their first time visiting Society Central and that the open house provided a great opportunity to connect with others, underscoring the value of creating informal spaces for engagement and relationship-building. Attendees also had the chance to participate in a raffle for prizes well-suited for the holiday season.
The open house served as a meaningful way to spread holiday cheer while strengthening connections within the Society and closing out the year on a positive note.
