Calling all Young Professionals!
Are you 35 years of age and under and looking to get involved with like-minded individuals from Society-represented workplaces across Ontario? The Society’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) is looking for passionate and outgoing individuals to join the Steering Committee!
Who Are We?
The YPN was established in 2017 and its volunteers work to represent the interests of Society members 35 years old and younger, from workplaces across Ontario.
The YPN works strengthen and advance the union by:
- Increasing young professional engagement in the union and union activities.
- Increasing the inclusion of young professional issues within the union and union activities.
- Ensuring the Society of United Professionals has meaningful representation on youth issues within the labour movement.
How Can You Get Involved?
YPN Steering Committee members meet on a monthly basis to help plan and undertake initiatives for the YPN membership. If joining the YPN Steering Committee interests you, please email [email protected], with the subject line ‘2021 YPN Steering Committee Member’. If you just want to participate as a member, then please let us know too!
