Society Rolls Out New Online Learning Platform

December 8, 2020

The Society has launched its new online learning platform. This new platform will allow us to continue to develop and expand the number of union education modules we are able to offer. For now, the platform will only be accessible to elected Society representatives with the expectation being that the platform will be expanded to offer courses to all members in the future.

Elected representatives will now have the option to access modules which speak to issues like stress reduction, negotiation and relationship building. New modules will be added as we continue to develop courses. Future courses are already in development with the Pride and Solidarity Committee to provide further information and insight into how we can support our fellow 2-Spirited and LGBTQIA+ members as allies in the workplace.

The new modules available on the system will exist in addition to in-class sessions which will resume when it is safe to do so.

For questions regarding the Society’s Education Program, please contact Chris Graham, Society Executive Vice-President.

We hope you enjoy the system and we look forward to continuing to add to our learning library and our collective knowledge!
