For the first time, the Canadian Nuclear Association took its annual policy conference to Saskatoon for CNA West, an event where industry leaders, policymakers, and other nuclear industry partners came together to explore what the path forward looks like for Western Canada.

Society President Rebecca Caron moderated a keynote panel looking at the critical steps needed to advance nuclear projects in Saskatchewan and Alberta, from workforce development and regulatory frameworks to fostering community and Indigenous partnerships, securing funding, and building political support and momentum.
