The Society is in negotiations with companies seeking to bid on a request for proposals with Hydro One to provide the services currently delivered by Inergi and Vertex, both employers of Society members.
The Society successfully negotiated with Hydro One to require any successful bidder to voluntarily recognize the work under this RFP as that of Society members through a memorandum of agreement (MOA). Given this requirement, bidders sought meetings with The Society to negotiate the parameters of a potential MOA.
Though all details must remain confidential at this point, The Society is meeting with a number of bidders. The team conducting these meetings is Scott Travers (President), Diane Mowat (LVP Inergi), Tracy Miller (Vertex), and Jim Bell (staff representative).
