At the recent Society Delegates Council, Society Delegates voted on several matters related to updating the Society’s Constitution. Constitutional amendments must be ratified in a referendum of the Society membership.
Referenda are conducted under the supervision of the Chief Returning Officer, and we use the Simply Voting platform you are familiar with from elections, ratification votes and strike votes. The referendum will ask you to vote upon the proposed changes, which only become effective after your ratification. Your participation in the referendum is important, and we will guide you through the process beginning in early 2024.
