The Society has a new web site that brings a much-needed update to the union’s online home.
The new site brings a clean, modern and mobile-first aesthetic to www.thesociety.ca. Meanwhile, the new Members Portal makes it easy for members to access relevant information like their collective agreement and find their local representatives.

With the new Level UP loyalty rewards program, members will receive points for participating in union activities like events and petitions, filling out occasional surveys, and connecting with the union via social media. Points can be redeemed for discount codes that allow members to purchase branded Society gear from the new SUP Store. Learn more about Level UP at https://www.thesociety.ca/level_up.
Members will continue to have access to the popular Deals and Discounts section of the web site that connects members to group pricing benefits from everything from insurance to amusement attractions.
Following the soft launch of the site some issues accessing the site with Internet Explorer were identified. The site is now fully compatible with Internet Explorer 11 while work continues to improve compatibility for earlier versions of Internet Explorer that used in some members’ workplaces.

If you haven’t logged in to the new Members Portal, follow these steps for easy access:
- Go to https://www.thesociety.ca/members_portal
- Click the Forgot your password? link
- Enter the email address to which you receive Society newsletters and click the Send password reset instructions button
- Follow the instructions in the email
- Go to https://www.thesociety.ca/members_portal and login
