The Society is proud to give back to the communities in which we live and work. This past June, the Society was proud to host three charity golf tournaments across Ontario and Saskachewan to raise money for some very worthwhile charities. Between the three tournaments, more than 300 members and distinguished guests joined Society leadership on the links.
In Saskatoon, all proceeds from their tournament went to support Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan, whose mission is to keep families together while children receive medical care by providing a welcoming and supportive home away from home. We are honoured to partner with an organization that makes such a meaningful difference for families across the province.
In Port Hope, we were pleased to partner with Rebound Child and Youth Services, an organization providing critical mental health, academic, housing, and youth wellness supports to young people across the community.
At the Bruce, tournament proceeds went to support local food banks. The Kincardine Food Bank, the Saugeen Shores Food Bank, and the Saugeen First Nation Food Bank all provide an essential service in the Bruce region for families struggling with food insecurity.
