The Society attended and hosted a booth at the Annual Broadbent Institute Summit in Ottawa. The Progress Summit is an annual opportunity for progressives across Canada to gather together and discuss the issues of the day. It is traditionally the largest annual progressive politics conference in Canada.
Society members advocated the progressive case for Canada’s nuclear industry to a very receptive audience. A clear takeaway from the event was that Canadian progressives see nuclear power as an important part of the path towards a net-zero emission future.
