Mike Borrelli is an engagement and social research professional with nearly twenty years experience working in Canada’s nuclear sector and advocating for its interests.
An experienced communicator and respected organizer in his workplace and community, Mike comes from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO), where he led municipal relations. He was part of a team that selected a site for the long-term management of Canada's used nuclear fuel. As a Society representative at the NWMO since 2010, he has bargained five collective agreements and led the local through its rapid expansion at multiple work sites across Ontario.
Mike has served as a treasurer, director, and executive officer of various volunteer non-profits. A proud resident raising a family in Hamilton, Mike is involved with poverty-reduction and affordable housing efforts in his hometown.
