Save the date: Labour Day

July 26, 2017

Mark your calendars: Labour Day is Monday, September 4 and you won’t want to miss out on the fun events scheduled for many communities across Ontario.

The biggest event is always the Toronto parade. Beginning at 8:30AM near University Ave. and Dundas St. W., the parade goes to the CNE. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and everyone who marches receives free entry to the CNE.

While further details and registration will begin shortly, other communities that have Labour Day events include Barrie (Picnic, 11-3PM at Sunnidale Park), Port Elgin (March 11AM at the Home Hardware on Goderich St.; Picnic at 12PM at UNIFOR Family Education Centre) and Hamilton (Parade, 10:30AM at Bay and Cannon; Picnic follows until 3PM at Bay Front Park).
