Proposed changes to Ontario’s Pension Benefits Act threaten pension plan members’ and retirees' right to information about their pensions. These changes would affect every member and retiree in a provincially regulated pension plan. Unlike a typical private company, our pension plans are administered for our benefit with our money. It is not too much to ask for proper communication so we are fully aware of the state of our retirement security.
