The Society is proud to once again support the educational pursuits of members’ and pensioners’ children and grandchildren as they attend a post-secondary institution of higher learning. The deadline for scholarship applications is July 31.
This year the Society, in conjunction with the Pensioners’ Chapter, will award 32 scholarships to assist with the costs of pursuing post-secondary education.
Children or grandchildren of Society members and Pensioners' Chapter members going to college or university in fall 2019 can apply online for a Society scholarship.
There are a total of 32 awards available. The Society will issue 10 scholarships to the children or grandchildren of active members at $1,500 and 20 scholarships at $1,000. The Pensioners' Chapter has two scholarships available to children or grandchildren of Chapter members at $1,000.
Applications for the scholarship must be submitted using the online web form listed above. Please contact Chris Graham, Executive Vice-President to request alternative methods of applying if needed for accommodation or due to technical issues.
Please note that all applications must be received by July 31, 2019 in order to be considered. An individual may only receive this scholarship once and, as such, previous winners are ineligible to apply.
