The Bruce Power Local continued its outreach efforts to Queen’s Park by touring the Bruce site with Taras Natyshak, NDP MPP for Essex in southwestern Ontario, as well as the party’s critic for economic development, employment and infrastructure.
The tour highlighted the benefits of nuclear to Ontario’s energy supply mix, including stabilizing the price of energy. Natyshak was especially interested in the role nuclear refurbishment projects will play in sustaining high-skill, unionized jobs across the province.
