While some may only think of Mexico as a vacation destination, Mexican culture is extremely rich, colourful and vibrant. Influenced by ancient civilizations of the Mayans and Aztecs, as well as European colonization, Mexico has developed a unique culture unlike any other on Earth.
The Coalition of Racialized Professionals (CoRP) and allies will be conducting a virtual Zoom Lunch & Learn on Mexican heritage to help teach others about Mexican culture.
The event features presentations from Society members about Cinco de Mayo and Mexican heritage and its significance to the people of Mexico and the USA.
