Our first-ever Indoor Cricket Social was a tremendous success, with 75 members and guests coming together at the Pickering Dome on May 24 for an afternoon of sport, fun, and connection.
Created in response to member interest, the event featured indoor cricket matches for all skill levels, a complimentary lunch, refreshments, and a lively half-time dance performance. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet Canadian cricketer Jeremy Gordon and hear remarks from Pickering Mayor Kevin Ashe.
The day wrapped up with medal presentations for the top teams and plenty of positive feedback from participants, who described the event as “fun, inclusive, and a great way to connect beyond the workplace.”
