First Nations Major Projects Coalition Conference 2026

May 19, 2026

The Society of United Professionals was proud to attend the First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC) Conference 2026, where Indigenous leaders, industry representatives, and organizations from across Canada gathered to discuss economic reconciliation, infrastructure development, energy projects, and long-term partnership opportunities. Our participation reflected the Society’s commitment to building meaningful relationships and engaging in conversations about the future of major projects and the workforce that supports them.

Throughout the conference, Society representatives connected with attendees and industry partners while learning from discussions focused on Indigenous leadership, equity participation, sustainable development, and collaboration within Canada’s energy sector. Being part of FNMPC 2026 was an important opportunity to listen, learn, and support conversations that will help shape a more inclusive and collaborative future for workers, communities, and industry alike.
