With Internation Women’s Day right around the corner on March 8th, Members should be on the lookout for a number of exciting opportunities to participate in IWD 2025 activities.
As we do every year, Members will have the opportunity to order an IWD pin. The proceeds from these pins go to support organizations that promote women’s rights and issues in Ontario. Members should expect to see an email with an order form soon.
We’re also excited to announce that Society President Rebecca Caron will be a guest speaker for the Port Hope Chamber of Commerce’s International Women’s Day event on March 7th. Rebecca will be speaking on the importance of unions in the fight for pay equity. Attendance for the speakers portion of the event is free. More information can be found here.
