Chris Graham is the Executive Vice-President (EVP) of the Society of United Professionals, IFPTE Local 160. Additionally, Mr. Graham serves in a number of other leadership capacities on various Society committees and is an elected Executive Board Member of the Toronto and York Region Labour Council.
Mr. Graham’s career in Ontario’s energy sector started more than a decade ago. Prior to his election as EVP in 2018, Mr. Graham served as the Society’s Local Vice-President (LVP) at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) Local. As LVP, Mr. Graham helped Society members at IESO through significant change and growth, including the IESO-Ontario Power Authority merger and the Market Renewal Program to redesign Ontario’s wholesale electricity market. Prior to his union involvement, Mr. Graham served the IESO as a Communications Advisor with the Corporate Relations and Communications team.
Mr. Graham earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Genetics) from the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of the John Cartwright Leadership Institute and the Labour College of Canada.
