The Society is pleased to announce the beginning of the 2024-2025 election cycle. Members who are interested in running for elected positions should watch their emails for announcements from Chief Returning Officer (CRO) Joe Borys.
- Principal Officer (PO) elections will be formally announced in September
- Local Vice-President (LVP) elections will be announced in November
- Unit Director (UD) election will be announced in January
We are proud of our democratic traditions as a union, and we hope to see lots of member engagement through this process. Regardless of whether members choose to put their names forward for an elected position, we hope that every member will participate in the elections process and take the time to cast an informed vote.
