The Society is pleased to announce that we will be hosting an Economics 101 Educational Series via Zoom for interested Society Elected Reps.

Led by the Society's economist, Nathan Jackson, this three-part economics series will cover a wide range of topics to provide elected representatives with the knowledge to better understand the economy, how it impacts labour, wages, collective bargaining, and public finance.  Nathan has a knack for demystifying complex economic concepts, into easy to digest relevant information.  These sessions do not require a background in (or a love for) finance or economics, everyone with an interest in learning more is welcome!

Please register to join us on Thursday, April 18, April 25, and May 2 from 12-1pm. These are three unique sessions that will cover different topics, so please plan to attend all three.

Please RSVP your attendance. The Zoom link for all 3 days will be provided upon registration.

Please note that the sessions are limited to Elected Society Representatives (Delegates, Unit Directors, Local Vice Presidents) only. The series will be recorded and made available on the Society's e-learning platform once the series has ended for those who are not able to attend.

Will you come?
