On the final day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we wish to thank Society members who have been following the campaign. The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically worsened conditions for many women and girls living in violent circumstances, and it is more important than ever that we take tangible steps to support these women. We hope that the materials and resources we have provided have helped inform your understanding of the issues, and, importantly, how people can help. We encourage members to circulate these resources within their networks.

On December 6th, we hosted a lunch and learn with Janelle Eisler, the Manager of Community Engagement at the Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre. For those who were unable to attend, the video of the presentation can be seen below.
